In friend and family scheme what are the charges? Whether facility is available to both?

The friend and family Scheme is available unidirectional (to the applicant) within the mobile numbers of same service area. The monthly charges to applicant is as follows:

  • Rs. 75 per BSNL Mobile Number up to three choice numbers
  • Rs. 100 per BSNL Mobile Number for more than three choice numbers

Whether friend and family scheme can be availed for PSTN fixed line or other network calls

"No, Friend and family scheme can be availed only for the BSNL mobile numbers of same service area (i.e. UP East Cellular Circle)."

Can we use our PSTN VCC card in BSNL mobile network?

No. VCC card used in PSTN fixed line connection cannot be used in BSNL mobile

Can I convert my postpaid BSNL Mobile Postpaid connection to a prepaid connection...

Can I convert my postpaid BSNL Mobile Postpaid connection to a prepaid connection or vice versa?

No. At present it is not possible to convert your postpaid connection to prepaid connection or vice versa. Both the SIMs are not changeable. You have to apply afresh for prepaid/ postpaid connection (as the case may be) and to complete requisite procedures for obtaining the connection.

Is third party transfer of mobile Cell one connection possible?

No. Presently it is not possible. Cellular connection is a type of personal communication.

Do you have any directory of BSNL Cell one mobile services?

No.

What are the charges for nation wide roaming in post-paid connection?

"Postpaid cards have nation wide roaming and there is no subscription charges, but other charges are according to the tariff plan."

Can I send overseas SMS ( i.e. to foreign countries)?

Yes, you can send SMS to foerign countries.

What is difference between cellular mobile and WLL mobile?

WLL mobile services are basic services whose operation is limited to an SDCA whereas cellular mobile services have roaming feature in all the GSM network.
