  • 1) A discount of 60% on charging of data usage beyond free data usage available with Data ADD-ONs is offered w.e.f 1st April, 2016. This discount shall be allowed to club with discount of 10% vide circular no. 11/11-12 for government employees (Central Government/State Government/PSU's) .
  • 2) This discount is applicable on postpaid data card plans also.
  • 3) This discount is  available to customers to subscribe Data ADD-ONs and data usage shoots beyond free data limit including EB customers.
  • 4) Those postpaid customers who are using data without subscribing Data ADD-ON will be charged at prevailing rate as defined in plan without this discount.This discount is not applicable to  Blackberry  Data plans.

The above 10% discount can not be clubbed with any other special discount/concession.
  • Customer who wants static IP address under BSNL 3G post-paid plans, can be provided with one static IP address @ Rs. 250/- per month . Annual payment option as mentioned at para (iii) above will also be applicable to Static IP address charges.

Offering 3G data card (3.6 Mbps) at reduced sale price as a back-up to the ADSL Broadband customers under ADSL Broadband plan in all the circles– reg.
  • A. For ADSL Broadband customers with FMC >= Rs. 600/- plan (monthly payment option)
  • Sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G data card:- Rs. 800/- (Excl. of VAT)

  • There would be bundled free data usage of 500 MB which will have to be used within 30 days from the date of activation.

  • Plan voucher of Rs.96 shall be purchased for activation of Data plan.


  • B.For ADSL Broadband customers under annual payment option or longer period commitment with any FMC plan
  • Sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G data card:- Rs. 500/- (Excl. of VAT)

  • There would be bundled free data usage of 500 MB which will have to be used within 30 days from the date of activation.

  • Plan voucher of Rs.96 shall be purchased for activation of Data plan.

  • Note:
  • After first month, customers are required to recharge their data card at market operated rates offered by BSNL to all data customers.

  • The data cards may be offered through BSNL CSC only, after verification of credential of the customer i.e. the last paid bill of the BSNL ADSL Broadband connection in respect of existing customer and proof of having taken BSNL Broadband connection in respect of new customer, till the stock lasts, against purchase of SUK, plan voucher and on submission of CAF.

  • It is also to be ensured by the circle that only one Data Card is to be offered against one BSNL ADSL connection.
