a) GSM FWP instrument as VPT (New Connection) will be provided free of cost only in those areas where front loaded subsidy is available.
b) In case of conversion of existing landline/ WLL VPTs into GSM VPTs, the sale price of GSM FWP will be charged from the VPT operator from the beneficiary.
3.0 Other Terms and
Conditions
i)
Uniform
Grace period of 15 days is allowed for all value of cards. No additional grace
period is allowed. No outgoing call is allowed during the grace period. The
unutilized balance amount in the previous card can be carried forward in case of
renewal within the grace period, otherwise it shall lapse.
ii)
The lifetime validity is upto the current license period of
Feb-2020 or upto renewed license period.
iii) The
GSM FWP VPT can be allowed to any person as per the existing terms and
conditions for Landline VPT.
iv) No
security deposit in the form of cash/Bank guarantee etc. is required to be taken
in the case of Prepaid GSM FWP VPT.
v)
No service charge is
allowed for intra circle calls. Moreover, for inter circle calls, considering
stiff competition, the charging of service charge is not mandatory.
